On October 14, Dr. Lutz was invited for a research talk about algorithm aversion towards fashion recommender systems at the Smith School of Business, Queens University in Kingston, Canada. The joint study with Yannik Schlepper, Jörg Lindenmeier, and Dirk Neumann analyzes the roles of social identity and explainable AI in the context of algorithm aversion towards fashion recommendations.
